Marcel Wagner

Served from August 1941 to June 1946

Marcel Wagner went through boot camp at the Great lakes Naval Station in Illinois. His first duty station was at the White-hall office of Naval Intelligence in New York City. He was then sent to China and Burma in April of 1943 and served in the Pacific Campaign until being sent back to the States in October of 1945. He completed his service in June of 1946. His intelligence work was classified until and upon completion of his service received no service awards. In 1998 he and several other members of his SACO until had their records unsealed and combat medals were awarded.
